Arab Street
This is the place where Muslims are concentrated. It’s a region of textiles. Batiks, Silks, Sarongs, shirts and variety of cloths are available here. And different kinds of mosques, Traditional Muslim food etc can be experienced.

Chinatown
As the name indicates this is a mini China. Buildings with Chinese architecture,
Cuisine, cultural events religious rituals etc are the specialties of Chinatown.

Colonial Singapore
This stretch of Singapore reflects the different faces of Singapore.Signs of colonial rule are evident here. Must see places: Empress Place Building, an imposing Victorian structure, built in 1865, that houses a museum, art and antique galleries and a chic restaurant; the incongruous Padang, where flannelled cricketers once caught, bowled and batted in the searing heat; Raffles Hotel, Churches such as and the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd, St Andrew's Cathedral etc.

Jurong Town
This is a huge area- situated west of the city centre - where industries and residential complexes are concentrated. Literally, it's the nerve centre of Singapore economy. Haw Par Villa-a Chinese mythological theme park- the major attraction of this area.

Little India
This part of the city stands an exception to the modern ambience of Singapore. The touch of India is the domonant feature everywhere. Shops in a line, aroma of food and drink, Hindi film music... Yes, there are many things that reflect the spirit of India. People used to visit this place to buy the photos of Hindu Gods.

Orchard Rd
Elite class of Singapore love this place. Shopping centers restaurants,
night spots bars etc are the elements that the people.

Sentosa Island
This is a true world of excitements. It calls the attention of people around the world. Sentosa island is complete with beaches, aquariums, museums, sporting centers, walks, rides and food centresThe island has a camping ground, hostel and luxury hotels.

Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
The largest area of this primary rainforest in Singapore has +-over 800 species of native plants including giant trees, ferns and native wild flowers.

Southern Islands
Most of this area is comprised of industrial bases. But one can find quiet beaches. And Sisters' Islands are ideal place for swimming.

If you love cycling you can explore the places on cycles. There are good facilities for golf enthusiasts. Also there are avenues to play tennis and squash.
