In Kodaikanal explore Kodaikanal lake, Berijam lake. And later travel to Munnar, the famous hill station. Day-01 BANGALORE-MYSORE

 Arrive Bangalore by Flight / Train .Upon arrival meet and greet by our representative to later transfer to Mysore (4hrs).Bangalore is known as the "Garden City of India" with its many gardens, boulevards its pleasant climate and laid-back charm. Visit Banglore palace and  transfer to Mysore en route visit Srirangapatnam (summer palace of Tipu sulthan) on arrival ,transfer to hotel for 2 nights

Rest of the day is free. Overnight stay in MYSORE

 

Day-02 MYSORE

After morning breakfast proceed for the Mysore sight seeing which include Mysore Palace, Maharajah Palace – Built during 1911 –12,  in the indo-sarsenic style, the palace is a spectacular monument, as which is well known for its magnificent durbar hall with gold thrones weighing 200 kg inlayed with precious stones. Chamundi Hills –, this temple atop the hill is dedicated to Chamundeswari, the consort of Lord Siva. The temple stands 1060 meters above sea level & can be reached by climbing up the 1000 steps.St. Philomena's Church, The Jaganmohan Palace and Local market.

Day-03 MYSORE-COORG

After Breakfast proceed for Coorge almost (3-4hrs drive ) Coorg is the place to be for all nature lovers. Coorg officially known as Kodagu, is the most affluent hill station in Karnataka. It is well known for its breath-takingly exotic scenery and lush greenery. 

Visit Abbey falls, Nagarahole National Park.

ABBEY FALLS - Abbey falls is in Kodagu, in the Western Ghats in Karnataka. It is located 8 km from the Madikeri, 268 km from Bangalore and 122 km from Mysore. The waterfall is located between private coffee plantations with stocky coffee bushes and spice estates with trees entwined with pepper vines. A hanging bridge constructed just opposite the falls. The falls was earlier called Jessi falls named after a British Officer's wife.

NAGARAHOLE NATIONAL PARK - a winding river which runs eastwards through its centre. Situated in the two districts of Mysore and Kodagu in the state of Karnataka. This park was declared the thirty seventh Project Tiger tiger reserve in 1999. It is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. The park has rich forest cover, small streams, hills, valleys and waterfalls. The park has a healthy predatorprey ratio, with many tigers, Indian bison and elephants.

Day-04 COORG-VYTHIRI

Morning after breakfast, travel to Vythiri by road. After reaching, check into the hotel.

Day-05 VYTHIRI-OOTY

Morning after breakfast at the hotel, travel to Ooty4-5 hrs of drive. Upon arrival at Ooty, check into the hotel.

Queen of hill stations" and the capital of Nilgiris district. It is one of the most popular tourist resorts in India. Ooty is a part of Nilgiris or "Blue Mountains" ranges. Used to be popular summer and weekend getaway for the Britishers during the colonial days. Situated at an altitude of 2,240 meters above sea level. An added attraction for the tourists to Udagamandalam is the mountain train journey on a ratchet and pinion track which commences from Kallar, near Mettupalayam and wends its way through many hair-raising curves and fearful tunnels and chugs along beside deep ravines full of verdant vegetation Gurgling streams and tea gardens. Rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day-06 OOTY

After Morning Breakfast proceed for the sightseeing in ooty. Botanical garden and lake.Botanic garden is a garden dedicated to the collection, cultivation and display of a wide range of plants labelled with their botanical names. It may contain specialist plant collections such as cacti and other succulent plants, hern gardens, plants from particular parts of the world. Visitors includes tours, educational displays, art exhibitions, book rooms, open-air theatrical and musical performances, and other entertainment.

OOTY LAKE - Ooty lake is located in Ooty in the Nilgiris district, Tamil Nadu, India. It covers an area of 65 acres. The boat house situated by the lake, which offers boating facilities to tourists, is a major tourist attraction in Ooty. The lake which breached thrice, completely emptying itself, originally extended up to the present day market and ferries were used to get across one side to the other.

Day-07 OOTY-KODAIKANAL

Morning after breakfast at the hotel, travel to Kodaikanal. Upon arrive at Kodaikanal, check into the hotel.

KODAIKANAL - is a city in the hills of the Dindigul district in the State of Tamil Nadu, India. Its name in the Tamil language means "The Gift of the Forest". Kodaikanal is referred to as the "Princess of Hill Stations" and has a long history as a retreat and popular tourist destination.

Day-08 KODAIKANAL

After morning breakfast proceed to explore the beauty of Kodaikanal. Kodaikanal Lake, also known as Kodai Lake is a manmade lake located in the Kodaikanal city in Dindigul district in Tamil Nadu, India. The lake is saie to be Kodaikanal's most popular geographic landmark and tourist attraction.

BERIJAM LAKE - Berijam lake is a reservoir near Kodaikanal town in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu, South India. It is at the old site of "Forest Hamilton", in the upper Palani hills. The lake, created by a dam with sluice outlets, is part of microwatershed development project.

Day-09 KODAIKANAL - MUNNAR

After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Munnar . Upon arrival at Munnar, check into the hotel.

MUNNAR - is a town and hill station located in the Idukki district of south western Indian State of Kerala. It is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha , Nallathanni, and Kundala. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forest and grassland here is the Neelakurinji. The name Munnar is believed to mean "three rivers". The region in and around Munnar varies in height from 1450 meters above mean sea level.

Day-10 MUNNAR

After breakfast proceed to Visit Eravikulam National Park, Anamudi Peak, Mattupetty.

ERAVIKULAM NATIONAL PARK - The most sought after destination in Munnar is the Eravikulam National Park, the first of its kind in Kerala, where the endangered Nilgiri Tahr is protected. The park offere a magnificent view of the tea plantations and also of the rolling hills created by blankets of mist. The park becomes a hot destination when the hill slopes get covered in a carpet of blue, resulting from the flowering of Neelakurinji. It is a plant endemic to this part of the Western Ghats which blooms once in twelve years.

ANAMUDI PEAK - Anamudi, the 2695 m high mountain which stands tall im the Eravikulam National Park is the pride of Kerala. It is the highest point in India outside the Himalayan Mountain Ranges. Anamudi, together with the Eravikulam park, is hoem to one of the largest surviving populations of Asian elephants, Gaurs and the Nilgiri Tahrs. The mountain, covered with evergreen forests and inhabited by endemic flora and fauna and a vibrant avian life, is a paradise in the wild. The green forest is also the source of some large and scenic rivers in Kerala and the nearby State of Tamil Nadu.

Day-11 MUNNAR-ALLEPPEY HOUSEBOAT

After breakfast, travel to Alleppey for house boating

HOUSEBOATING - The house boats of Kerala are new addition to the travel and tourism of the states backwaters. Alleppey is one of the most important tourist centers in the state, with a large network of inland canals caring it the sobriquet "Venice of the East". Alleppey is also known for its spectacular snake-boat races held on the second Saturday of August, every year. This competition - the Nehru boat race takes its name from India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, who inaugurated in 1952.

Day-12 COCHIN /DEPARTURE

Morning after breakfast, travel to Cochin. the Queen of Arabian Sea is a vibrant city situated on the southwest coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala.

Tour of Old Cochin to include Dutch Palace constructed in 1555 A.D. It is one of the oldest buildings built by Portuguese. The courtyard of the Palace contains a temple which is built in traditional style of architecture known as 'nalukettus' in Kerala. Also visit the Jewish Synagogue which was built in 1568 and is one of the oldest synagogues, Jew Town, Spice Market where the air is filled with the smell of spices, St. Francis Church one of the first European Church in India was constructed in 1503 by Portuguese Franciscan friars enjoy photo session at the Chinese Fishing Nets.guide will transfer you to airport/Railway station to board onward flight/train.
