MALABAR MAHATMYAM
In this 6night / 7 days tour we will be covering Kasargode district of Kerala state in India. Situated in the rich Biodiversity of Western Ghats, it is known for the Chandragiri and Bekal Fort along with this we will move on to Kappil Beach, Ananthapura lake temple , Madhur Temple , Nileswaram, Ummichipoyil and Varikulam.Later we will be moving onto the ancient trading port. Enduring monuments such as 16th-century St. Angelo Fort, once occupied by European colonial forces, show the city’s significant role in the spice trade. Continuing the drive to the east, the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is a lush, forested region with areas of high altitude, home to animals including Asiatic elephants, tigers, leopards and egrets. In the Ambukuthi Hills to the south, Edakkal Caves contain ancient petroglyphs, some dating back to the Neolithic age, with Banasurasagar Dam, Padinjarethara and Soojipara waterfalls.Later drive to Kozhikode the coastal city in the south Indian state of Kerala. It was a significant spice trade center and is close to Kappad Beach, where Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama landed in 1498 where we will be exploring Pazhassiraja Museum & Art Gallery, S M street & Beypore.Finally drop to Calicut for departure.
Arrive at the nearest airport or railway station.Meet and greet by our representative and Check into the hotel in Kasargode. After a short span of rest, Visit Bekal Fort & Kappil Beach, Ananthapura lake temple , Madhur Temple , Nileswaram, Ummichipoyil and Varikulam .

After breakfast proceed to Kannur (92 Kms/3hrs approx). On arrival check into Hotel and after some rest proceed for the Sightseeing as Arakkal Kettu Museum, Kanhirode Weaving Cooperative , Parassinikadavu Sri Muthappan Temple, Muzhappilangad Beach the only driving beach in Kerala you to simply drive along as you soak in the view of the beautiful Malabar Coast.Rest of the day relax in the beach.

After breakfast drive to Wayand, almost 3-4hrs of drive /120 Kms . On arrival Check in the resort/Hotel. Later proceed for Pakshipathalam Iruppu falls, Thirunelli Temple, Seetha Mount, Jane Temple, Tholpetti Wild Life Sanctuary by evening back to hotel.

After Breakfast at hotel move on for the sight seeing Pazhassi Tomb, Chembra peak, Banasurasagar Dam, Padinjarethara.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kozhikode (almost 3 hrs of drive 85Kms ) on arrival check in the hotel. After a short span of rest. In afternoon proceed for sightseeing in Pazhassiraja Museum & Art Gallery, S M street & Beypore.

After Breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Calicut airport/railway station for your depature.
