DAY 1 CHENNAI

Arrive Chennai by International flight, Upon arrival meet & assist transfer to pre booked hotel for 1 nights. Chennai formerly known as Madras, is the capital of the southern state of Tamil Nadu in India, and is the country's fourth-largest city. It is located on the Coromandel Coast of the Bay of Bengal. The city is home to Fort St. George, built in 1644 and now a museum showcasing the city’s roots as a British military garrison and East India Company trading outpost, when it was called Madras. Religious sites include Kapaleeshwarar Temple, adorned with carved and painted gods, and St. Mary’s, a 17th-century Anglican Church. Rest of the day is free at your leisure.

DAY 2 CHENNAI/KANCHIPURAM/MAHABALIPURAM /PONDICHERRY
Breakfast at the hotel. Later enjoy orientation tour of Kanchipuram (02 hours) is one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage 
sites in India the second holiest after Varanasi, the seat of the Shankaracharya, Visit popular temples like  Kailasanthar 
Temple, Ekambareshwarar Temple, The Vardarajanperumal Temple and the Sakiswarar Temple and continue your drive to 
Mahabalipuram (approx 2 hrs)  is famous for its historic  monuments have also been classified as a UNESCO world heritage 
enjoy sightseeing of Mamallapuram where you visit the Famous world heritage monuments of The Shore Temple, The Arjuna`s 
Penance, Mahishasuramardhini cave renowned for its mythological carvings, Five Rathas- these are the five monolithic 
temples and the Shore Temple one of the oldest temples in South.  Later transfer to Pondicherry (2 hrs) on arrival transfer 
to hotel for 2 night. On arrival check in at the hotel and  Rest of the day is free to enjoy facilities at the hotel.

DAY 3 PONDICHERRY /TIRUVANNAMALAI /PONDICHERRY
Breakfast at the hotel.Visit Pondicherry.The city’s main attraction is the Aurobindo Ashram The The focal point of Auroville is the Matrimandir, a meditation chamber Enjoy an excursion to Tiruvannamalai  to visit one of the Pancha Bhoota Sthalams (one of the five temples related to five basic elements) – associated with the element Fire; the other four temples are Thiruvanaikaval Jambukeswara (water),Chidambaram Natarajar (sky), Kanchi Ekambareswara (earth) andSrikalahasti Temple dedicated to Kalahasti Nathar (wind). According to Hindu belief, the Lord Arunachaleswarar was worshipped by Lord Surya(Sun), Lord Chandra (Moon), Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu.Return back to Pondicherry.

DAY 4 PONDICHEERY/CHITHAMBARAM/TANJORE
After breakfast Proceed to Tanjore by surface (5-6 Hrs) enroute visit Chidambaram Nataraja Temple a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in the enthralling form of the Cosmic Dancer Nataraja.The peculiarity of the temple is its presiding deity - the Akasha Lingam or the ether lingam. Later on to Kumbakonam, enroute visit Gangaikonda Cholapuram (famous Shiva temple) with its beautiful high   towers   full   with   many   small sculptures depicting stories of old epics.At Kumbakonam visit Maha Makham tank & Brahma temple – a unique temple of its kind in India namely the Sarangapani temple. Also visit Airavatheswar temple at Darasuram (built in memory of the White elephant – AIRAVATH from the Gods family) later transfer to Tanjore. On arrival transfer to hotel.

DAY-05 TANJORE/TRICHY/MADURAI
After breakfast enjoy sightseeing tour of Tanjore Proceed to Madurai (3 hr)  with enrouted visit to Trichy is a historic city situated on the banks of the scenic river Cauvery.Visit Brigadeswara temple & Rock fort temple. Later drive to Madurai and in evening visit to Meenakshi temple for the night ceremony. .

DAY 6 MADURAI/THEKADY
Early morning visit to Meenakshi temple  where God “Shiva” (Meenakshi's husband) is taken in a palanquin to the bedroom of Meenakshi. This is a daily procession and next day early morning before sunrise God Shiva is brought back to his shrine with in the temple complex.Return back to hoteland  After breakfast drive to Thekkady [3 ½ hrs] through the plantations, upon arrival transfer to hotel for 01 night. Periyar is one of India's most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries, where you can watch wildlife at close quarters. The vegetation, the flora and fauna and the birds of Periyar are uniquely rich, vast and varied that it does not bear resemblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world.

DAY 7 THEKADY/KUMARAKOM
Breakfast at the hotel. Later transfer to Kumarakom Check in to the hotel for 1 nights Kumarakom is undoubtedly the most invigorating, fascinating paradise in Kerala, God's own country.
The slender coconut palms standing here, there and everywhere, its never ending paddy fields, meandering lagoons and backwaters, mangroves nesting birds of a hundred varieties can peacefully calm and invigorate your mind with renewed inspiration for your vocation and life. Kumarakom is also famous for boat cruises & snake boat races.
Rest of the day is free to explore Kumarakom.

DAY 8 KUMARAKOM/ALLEPPEY
Morning after breakfast, Board Houseboat for overnight cruise to Alleppey.
Houseboats (Kettuvallams) the large traditional boats are converted into floating luxury dwelling units. These house boats are available in all sizes and shapes, the most popular accommodation type being a suite, having one or two bath attached bedrooms, one living room, kitchenette, an open lounge, deck and a crew comprising oarsmen, a cook and guide. A small outboard engine, allowing one to cruise along the backwaters, generally powers the houseboats. (A/c functions from 0900 PM to 0600 AM)

DAY 9 ALLEPPEY/COCHIN
Breakfast at the Houseboat . Transfer by road to Cochin {01 Hour} upon arrival check in to hotel.
 
Later in the afternoon proceed to visit  Cochin, the Queen of Arabian Sea is a vibrant city situated on the southwest coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala.
Tour of Old Cochin to include Dutch Palace constructed in 1555 A.D. It is one of the oldest buildings built by Portuguese. The courtyard of the Palace contains a temple which is built in traditional style of architecture known as 'nalukettus' in Kerala. Also visit the Jewish Synagogue which was built in 1568 and is one of the oldest synagogues, Jew Town, Spice Market where the air is filled with the smell of spices, St. Francis Church one of the first European Church in India was constructed in 1503 by Portuguese Franciscan friars enjoy photo session at the Chinese Fishing Nets. DAY 10 COCHIN
Breakfast at the hotel. Assist transfer to Cochin Railway station /Airport for onward joueney.
