Day-01 DELHI ARRIVAL

Arrive at Morning hours in Delhi. Meet and greet our representative to transfer to Hotel after a couple of rest proceed for the sight seeing for Delhi.

DELHI - the capital of kingdoms and empires is now a sprawling metropolis with a fascinating blend of the past and the present. It is a perfect introduction to the composite culture of an ancient land.

Old Delhi- Old Delhi was established by Mughal Emperon and the streets are narrow and bustling.
Raj Ghat- the cenotap site where the father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Jama Masjid- architectural monument built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.
New Delhi- New Delhi is the capital of India. In New Delhi sightseeing, you will visit the Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar.

Day-02 DELHI-JAIPUR

Morning after breakfast at the hotel, travel to Jaipur. Upon arrival at Jaipur, check into the hotel.

JAIPUR - is the fabled "Pink City" of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. Jaipur is the picturesque capital of Rajasthan. It was first planned city in India, beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments and marvelous heritage hotels, which were once the residence of Maharajas, are worthy of administration. Jaipur is an enthralling historical city and the gateway of India's most flamboyant state.

Day-03 JAIPUR

Morning after breakfast at the hotel,proceed  to Jaipur sightseeing. Visit Amber Fort , Birla temple.

AMBER FORT - is one that cannot be easily described. Ride up on Elephants to the former capital of the royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills. Visit Hawamahal- palace of winds also known as Hawamahal, this elaborate building, now little more than a facade, is encrusted with delicate screen and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world. After that enjoy your lunch, later visit Jantar Mantar, City Palace. Enjoy local market also.

BIRLA TEMPLE - It is a Hindu temple located in Jaipur, India and is part of one of the several Birla Mandirs located all around the country. The grand temole is located on an elevated ground at the base of Moti Dungari hill in Rajasthan. The temple looks stunning, when it is brightly lit in the night. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Narayan), the preserver and his consort Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. The beautiful white marble temple mesmerixes the onlookers, stained glass windows depict the seces from Hindu Scriptures.

Day-04 JAIPUR-AGRA

Morning after breakfast, travel to Agra. Upon arrival at Agra, check into the hotel. After some rest, visit Taj Mahal.

TAJ MAHAL- is one of the most beautiful monuments, is one of the wonders of the world. Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of Yamuna river in the Indian 

City of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Tomb is the centerpiece of a 12 hectare complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and it is set in formal gardens bounded on three sides by a crenellated wall.

Day-05 AGRA-JHANSI-ORCHHA-KHAJURAHO

After breakfast, guide will transfer you to the Agra Railway station to board the train to Jhansi. On arrival at Jhansi Railway station, pickup and transfer to Khajuraho. Enroute visit the beautiful town of Orchha.
ORCHHA- is a town in Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh. The town was established by Rudra Pratap Singh. Orchha lies on the Beta River, 80 km from Tikamgarh & 15 km from Jhansi. Continur drive to Khajuraho, UNESCO World heritage site and famous all over the world for its temples with erotic sculptures. On arrival at Khajuraho, you will be transferred to your hotel & later after some rest, proceed for city tour of the exotic temples of Khajuraho. Visit the temples of Khajuraho, world famous for its erotic sculptures that present a picture of eternal, spiritual and physical love.

Day-06 KHAJURAHO

 

After morning breakfast vist  the Khajuraho Group of Monuments of Hindu and Jain temples in Madhya Pradesh, about 175 km southeast of Jhansi. It is one of the UNESCO World heritage sites in India. The temples are famous for their nagara-style architectural symbolism and their erotic sculptures. The Khajuraho group of monuments was built during the rule of Rajput Chandela dynasty. Khajuraho is one of the four half sites linked to deity Shiva. The temple site is within Vindhya mountain range in central India.

Day-07 KHAJURAHO/MUMBAI/ AURANGABAD

Morning after breakfast, travel to airport to board flight to Mumbai, later board flight to Aurangabad.Upon arrive in Aurangabad airport, guide will pick up and transfer to hotel. After some rest, visit Ajanta  Caves

AJANTA CAVES - The Ajanta caves in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra State of India are about 30 rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments which date from the 2nd century BCE to about 480 or 650 CE. The cave includes paintings and rock cut sculptures described as among the finest surviving examples of ancient Indian art, particularly expressive painting that present emotion through gesture, pose and form. The site is a protected monument in the care of the Archaeological Survey of India. The Ajanta caves constitute ancient monasteries and worship halls of different Buddhist traditions carved into a 250 feet wall of rock.

Day-08 AURANGABAD

Morning after breakfast, guide will lead you to  Ellora caves

ELLORA CAVES - Ellora is one of the largest rck-cur monastery-temple caves complexes in the world, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Maharashtra, India. The site presents monuments and art work of Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism from the 600-1000 CE period. Cave 16 of Ellora features the largest single monolithic rock excavation in the world, the Kailasha Temple, a chariot shaped monument dedicated to Shiva. The cave served as monasteries for monks, temples for prayers and a place for pilgrims to rest, but now is an archaeological site.

Day-09 AURANGABAD/MUMBAI/CHENNAI

Morning after breakfast, guide will transfer to airport to board flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival at Mumbai airport, board flight to Chennai.

On arrive meet and greet by our representative and check in to the Hotel.Rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day- 10 CHENNAI/ MAHABALIPURAM/ KANCHIPURAM/ CHENNAI

After breakfast at hotel move on to explore, Mahabalipuram and later drive to Kanchipuram.Mahabalipuram is also known as Mamallapuram, is a town in Kanchipuram district in the Indian State of Tamil Nadu, around 60 km South of thr city of Chennai. It is an ancient historic towm and was a bustling seaport during the time of Periplus and Ptolemy, from where ancient Indian traders sailed to countries of South East Asia. By the 7th century it was a port Ccity of the South Indian dynasty of the Pallavas. It has a group of sanctuaries carved out of rock in the 7th and 8th centuries: rathas, mandapas, giant open-air rock reliefs such as the famous Descent of the Ganges, and the Shore Temple, with thousands of sculptures to the glory of Shiva.

Later travel to Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram otherwise known as Kanchi is a city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Kanchipuram is well-connected by road and rail. Located on the banks of Vegavathy river, Kanchipuram has been ruled by the Pallavas, the Medieval Cholas, the Later Cholas, the Later Pandyas, the Vijayanagara Empire, the Carnatic Kingdom, and the British. Historically, Kanchipuram was a centre of education and was known as the ghatikasthanam, or "place of learning".

Day-11CHENNAI-MYSORE

Morning after breakfast, guide transfer to Chennai railway station to board train to Mysore. On arrival meet our representative and after hotel check and a small freshup at hotel get ready to proceed for Mysore sightseeing.

MYSORE - One of the South India's most famous tourist destination. Mysore, officially renamed as Mysuru, is the third most populous city in the state of Karnataka, India. Located at the base of the Chamundi Hills about 146 km southwest of the state capital Bangalore, it is spread across an area of 128.42 km.sq. Mysore is known for glittering royal heritage and magnificent monuments and buildings.Brindavan Garden.

Day- 12 MYSORE

Morning after breakfast, visit Mysore palace.

MYSORE PALACE - The Palace of Mysore is a historical palace in the city of Mysore in Karnataka, Southern India. It is the official residence and seat of the Wodeyars - the rulers or Mysore, the royal family of Mysore, who ruled the princely state from 1399 to 1950. The palace houses two durbar halls and incorporates a mesmerizing and gigantic array of courtyarss, gardens, and buildings. The palace is in the central region of inner Mysore, facing the Chamundi Hills eastward. The palace has three entrances: the East Gate, the South Entrance and the West Entrance.

Day- 13 MYSORE-HASSAN

Morning after breakfast, travel to Hassan. Upon arrive at Hassan, visit Belur & Halebid.

BELUR & HALEBID -  Belur and Halebid is about 200 km east of Mangalore and west of Bangalore, was stunning. Belur was the early capital of thr Hoysala empire. There we can find the Chennakesava temple complex which contains the Chennakesava temple. The Chennakesava temple was built by King Vishnuvardhana in commemoration of his victory over the Cholas at Talakad in 1117 CE.

Halebid, which was previously called Dorasamudra or Dwarasamudra. This was the regal capital of the Hoysala Empire in the 12th century. It is home to one of the best examples of Hoysala architecture in the ornate Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temples. Halebidu literally means ruined city. This na,e is guven because the city was ruinee two times by Bahmani sultanate - the aforementioned Muslim invaders.

Day- 14 HASSAN - BADAMI

Morning after breakfast, travel to Badami. Upon arrive in Badami, check into the hotel.

BADAMI CAVE TEMPLE -  The Badami Cave Temples are a complex of four Hindu, Jain and possibly Buddhist Cave Temple located in Badami, a town in the Bagalkot district in northern part of Karnataka, India. The caves are considered an example of Indian rock-cut architecture, especially Badami Chalukya architecture, whcih dates from the 6th century. Badami was previously known as Vatapi Badami, the capital of the early Chalukya dynasty, whcih ruled much of Karnataka from the 6th to the 8th century.

BHUTANATH GROUP OF TEMPLES - The Bhutanath Group of temples is a cluster of sandstone shrines dedicated to the deity Bhutanatha, in Badami town of Karnataka state, India. There are two major temples here. Temple No.1, on the east side of the lake, called the Bhutanatha temple has a superstructure that resemble early South Indian style or North Indian style with its open mantapa extending into the lake, while the smaller Temple No.2 on the north-east side of the lake, sometimes called the Mallikarjuna group of temples, has a stepped superstructure, commonly found in Kalyani Chalukya constructions.

Day- 15 BADAMI/HOSPET

Morning after breakfast, travel to Hospet. Upon arrive at Hospet, visit Chitradurga Fort.

CHITRADURGA FORT - Chitradurga Fort or as the British called Chitaldoorg, is a fortificstion that straddles several hills and a peak overlooking a flat valley in the Chitradurga district, Karnataka, India. The fort's name Chitrakaldurga, which means 'picturesque fort' in Kannada, is the namesake of the town Chitradurga and its administrative district. Chitredurga is formed of two words in the Kannada language: 'Chitra' means "picture" and 'durga' means "fort" and is tagged with the English word 'fort' to form the name "Chitradurga Fort". It is also locally known as "kallina kote" or stone fortress, which is also formed of two kannada word 'Kallina': "Stone" and 'Kote': "Fort".

FORT AGUADA - Fort Aguada and its lighthouse is a well-preserved seventeenth-century Portugese fort standing in Goa, India. On Sinquerism Beach, overlooking thr Arabian Sea. The firt was constructed in 1612 to guard against the Dutch and thr Marathas. A freshwater spring within the fort providee water supply to the ships that used to stop by. This is how the fort got its name: Aguada, meaning water.

SALIM ALI BIRD SANCTUARY - Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary is an estuarine mangrove habitat, which is declared as a bird sanctuary, and located om western tip of the Island of Chorao along the Mandovi River, Goa, in India. The sanctuary is named after Salim Ali, the eminent Indian ornithologist. The sanctuary and Island are accessed by a ferry service running between Ribander and Chorao. The sanctuary has a paved walk that runs between mangroves of Rhizophora mucronata, Avicennia officinalis and other places.
