DELHI SIGHTSEEING


Breakfast at the hotel. Later start your day with the sightseeing tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi with English speaking guide.
Old Delhi- Old Delhi was established by Mughal Emperor and the streets are narrow and bustling.
Raj Ghat- the cenotaph site where the father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Jama Masjid- architectural monument built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.
New Delhi- New Delhi is the capital of India. In New Delhi sightseeing, you will visit the Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar.

DELHI/AGRA


Breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Agra. Upon arrival transfer to hotel for the night. After some rest, start a sightseeing tour of Agra with guide. Visit Taj Mahal- one of the Seven Wonders of the World surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created.

AGRA/ JAIPUR

After breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Jaipur
JAIPUR - the fabled "Pink City" of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. Jaipur is the picturesque capital of Rajasthan. It was first planned city in India, beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments and marvelous heritage hotels, which were once the residence of Maharajas, are worthy of administration. Jaipur is an enthralling historical city and the gateway of India's most flamboyant state. Upon arrival check into the hotel for 2 nights.
 

JAIPUR

After a leisure breakfast, visit the majestic Amber Fort. Later visit the Palace of Winds also known as Hawamahal.

HAWA MAHAL - "Palace of Winds" is a place in Jaipur, India, so named because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while unseen from the outside. Constructed of red and pink sandstones the palace sits on the edge of the City Palace, and extends to the Zenana, or women's chambers. The palace is a five store pyramidal shaped monument that rises 50 feet from its high base. The top three floors of the structure have a dimension of one room width while the first and second floors have patios in front of them. The front elevation, as seen from the street, is like a honeycomb web of a beehive, built with small portholes.

After breakfast, depart for Mumbai International Airport to board flight to Cochin International airport.

COCHIN - ALLEPPEY HSB - KUMARAKOM

 

Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit  Cochin, the Queen of Arabian Sea is a vibrant city situated on the southwest coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala.

Tour of Old Cochin to include Dutch Palace constructed in 1555 A.D. It is one of the oldest buildings built by Portuguese. The courtyard of the Palace contains a temple which is built in traditional style of architecture known as 'nalukettus' in Kerala. Also visit the Jewish Synagogue which was built in 1568 and is one of the oldest synagogues, Jew Town, Spice Market where the air is filled with the smell of spices, St. Francis Church one of the first European Church in India was constructed in 1503 by Portuguese Franciscan friars enjoy photo session at the Chinese Fishing Nets.

COCHIN - ALLEPPEY HSB

Breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Alleppey  Jetty to board Houseboat for Overnight cruise to Alleppey .

Board into the houseboat at 12 Hrs for overnight cruise Alleppey is located on the banks of Vembanad lake, most picturesque a chain of brackish lagoons and lakes lying parallel to the Arabian Sea coast (known as the Malabar Coast) of Kerala state in southern India. The backwaters were formed by the action of waves and shore currents creating low barrier islands across the mouths of the many rivers flowing down from the Western Ghats range.           

Houseboats (Kettuvallams) the large traditional boats are converted into floating luxury dwelling units. These house boats are available in all sizes and shapes, the most popular accommodation type being a suite, having one or two bath attached bedrooms, one living room, kitchenette, an open lounge, deck and a crew comprising oarsmen, a cook and guide. KUMARAKOM - Kumarakom is a popular tourism destination located near the city of Kottayam, in Kerala, India, famous for its backwater tourism. It is set in the backdrop of the Vembanad Lake, the largest lake in the State of Kerala. Kumarakom is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Kumarakom bird sanctuary is a noted bird sanctuary where many species of migratory birds visit. Fishing, agriculture and tourism are the major economic activities. The place has expanses of mangrove forests, paddy fields and coconut groves. Fruits like banana, mango, jackfruit, ambazhanga, puli (tamerind), chaambenga, peraycka (Guva), aathaycka and pineapple grow here.

KOVALAM - Kovalam is a beach town bu the Arabian sea in Thiruvananthapuram city. The leisure options at the beach are plenty and diverse. Kovalam has three beaches separated by rocky outcroppings in its 17 km coastline, the three together form the famous crescent of the Kovalam beach.
*LIGHTHOUSE BEACH
     The southernmost beach, the Lighthouse Beach is the one most frequented by tourists, Lighthouse Beach got its name due to the old Vizhinjam Lighthouse located on a 35 meter high on top of the Kurumkal hillock.
*HAWAH BEACH
     Eve's Beach, more commonly known as Hawah Beach, ranks second in the early days, 
is a beehive of activities with fishermen setting out for sea.
*SAMUDRA BEACH
     A large promontory separates this part from the southern side. Samudra Beach doesn't have tourists thronging there or hectic business. After sightseeing in Kovalam, Overnight stay at hotel.
