Day-01 KOLKATA
Arrive at Kolkata airport you will be received by our representative and transfer to Hotel Peerless Inn, Kolkata. Afternoon walk around New Market and places of interest in & around your hotel. Over night at Kolkata.
Kolkata is the capital of the Indian state of West Bengal and is also the commercial capital of East India, located on the east bank of the Hooghly River. Kolkata was the capital of India during the time of the British Raj. The city's documented history, however, begins with the arrival of the English East India Company in 1690, when the Company was consolidating its trade business in Bengal. Job Charnock, an administrator with the company was traditionally credited as the founder of the city.
Day-02 KOLKATA
After breakfast we will go for day excursion to explore Kolkata – Victoria Memorial, Marble Palace, Jorashanko Thakurbari, India Museum, Dalhousie Square, Esplanade and other historic places of Kolkata. Over night at Kolkata
 
Day-03 KOLKATA - GUWAHATI
After breakfast, we will proceed to Kolkata domestic airport to take flight to Guwahati – the capital of Assam and the gateway to the North Eastern states of India.
Arrive at Guwahati LGB Airport our company representative will greet you and assist you to Hotel in the city. Afternoon explore Navagraha Temple (Temple of Nine Planets) and then relax and dine at your hotel. Overnight at Guwahati.
Day-04 GUWAHATI - TEZPUR

Morning after breakfast at hotel in Guwahati, we will drive to Nilachal Hill to see the holy Maa Kamakhya Temple and city skyline from top of the hill. Later we will drive to Tezpur, with lunch on the way and board the river vessel. Dinner, cruise briefing and overnight onboard at Tezpur.

Day-05 River Cruise

After Breakfast, we explore Tezpur, a town of magnificent scenic beauty and exquisite archaeological ruins. We will visit the 6th. Century ruins of the door frame of Da-Parbatia temple and Cole Park. Board the vessel and start sailing to Silghat with lunch Onboard. After reaching Silghat, we will proceed to Kaziranga National Park by road for a Jeep Safari. After the Safari we will drive back to Silghat. Reach Silghat, Dinner, Briefing and Overnight stay onboard at Silghat.

Day-06 River Cruise

We rise early and before breakfast, drive to Kohora, central range of the Kaziranga National Park for an exciting elephant safari through the tall swamp grasslands. The great one-horned Indian Rhinoceros is very easy to see. Few sanctuaries anywhere can provide as certain an assurance of a unique setting and sight of its best known wild animals and birds as can Kaziranga. After safari, return back to Silghat, reboard the vessel, take breakfast and start sailing further upstream. Lunch will be onboard during  sailing. We will reach Biswanath Ghat, early afternoon and will disembark the vessel for a small visit to the Biswanath Temple & its village. Return to the vessel which wil then moor at a deserted sand island near Biswanath Ghat.

Day-07 River Cruise
Morning, we cruise further through Kaziranga National Park on its Northern boundary. Breakfast & Lunch onboard. If luck favours, we may have sightings of herds of deer, wild elephants or even a big cat. On the way we will stop over a river side ‘Mishing’ village to which the inhabitants  migrated from the nearby state of Arunachal Pradesh to Assam centuries ago. We take a small walk and experience the life of a tribal village. Arrive at upstream Dhansirimukh for overnight stay.
 
Day-08 River Cruise

Today we sail to see  a deserted sand island and view the scenic beauty of Majuli Island. Whiel we sail you can participate in the Yoga Class, enjoy onboard game competitions, buy mementos in the onboard shop or can participate in the Guest Lectures.  Dinner, briefing and overnight stay onboard the vessel near Majuli Island.

Day-09 River Cruise
Today after breakfast onboard we will visit Majuli, the largest human inhabited river island in the world & also the cradle of Assamese culture. The religious and cultural traditions are kept alive by the dedicated monks living in the monasteries locally known as Sattra. We shall visit some monasteries & interact with the monks. Multifaceted in its attractions Majuli also unfolds a variety of interest like migratory birds, traditional handicrafts & pottery, ethnic culture and dance forms. The Sattriya dance from this sect is the latest entry into India’s recognized classical dances. After the visit we come back to the vessel and start sailing to Neemati Ghat, taking lunch onboard.
Evening reach Neemati Ghat. Dinner, briefing and overnight onboard at Neemati.
Day-10 River Cruise
After breakfast, we drive to visit a Tea Garden in Jorhat where we can see the Tea Garden and the tea factory (tea factories during the months of December to March may not have any activities as there is no tea plucking during this period). After the factory visit, we go the manager/owner’s bungalow for lunch. After lunch, we may visit the small town of Jorhat and buy some souvenirs, returning to the vessel in the evening.
This is the last night on the vessel. We enjoy the farewell dinner and get introduced to the vessel staff. A brief moment for sharing our memories of the cruise.
Day-11 JORHAT - DIBRUGARH Airport - KOLKATA
We rise early morning to prepare for checkout. Take an early breakfast and then depart for the Dibrugarh Airport by road (3 hrs) to board you flight to Kolkata. (Lunch enroute).
