Notable features include a dove representing the Holy Spirit, surrounded by symbols of the sun, moon, and stars, as well as depictions of the Virgin Mary and scenes from the Passion of Christ. Adjacent to the ruins is the Museum of Sacred Art and Crypt, which houses religious artifacts and the tomb of Father Alessandro Valignano, the founder of St. Paul’s College . In 2005, the ruins were designated as part of the Historic Centre of Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognizing their cultural and historical significance.
